If you spend your time doing what everyone else thinks is right, then you will never know if something other than what everyone else thinks is right would have been better for you. The other part of this quote that is most useful is the part about how we must always challenge our own limitations. It’s easy to assume that we can do everything just like everyone else does it, but if we don’t challenge ourselves then we will never know if there are things that we can’t do or shouldn’t do.
